We take our name from a canyon in Nevada, USA. Over the past 60 years, academic, government, and industry geologists have published numerous papers on Arrow Canyon’s palaeontology, biostratigraphy, and sedimentology. These investigations have provided documentation showing Arrow Canyon to be one of the most complete layered carboniferous exposures in North America and the world. A really special place in geological terms. Located in a 27,530-acre park, Arrow Canyon has a base elevation of 3,000 ft, and it rises to 4,953 ft at its peak, with near vertical sides, so it is as majestic and awe-inspiring as it is geologically important.

The foundation of our security management approach is to identify and analyse security threats and vulnerabilities wherever they may occur, and to evaluate the adequacy of mitigation to reduce or eliminate that threat for our clients.
Our teams have considerable experience in high-risk environments, and we are able transfer that experience to our clients. As part of our ongoing safety culture in high-risk environments, we insist that all our operational staff and consultants have relevant project experience in an HS&E-related position, i.e., Watch/Team/Site Safety Officer, other HSE specialist roles, or working within R&D HS&E Safety Teams at some point in their career. This ensures they are proficient in delivering a positive safety culture for Arrow Canyon and our clients.
Arrow Canyon has worked with Professor Paul Christensen, the foremost academic in the UK and advisor to the UK Fire Chief’s Council, on the properties of lithium-ion batteries and the dangers of Thermal Runaway. We are also working in partnership with experienced professional fire-fighting specialists and energy engineers to assist companies with their understanding of the risks for their personnel who are working with lithium-ion devices or for those involved in the transportation of them.
